It consults to hear the views of faith communities on specific policies and helps faith communities come together to discuss issues that matter particularly to them.
A Council of 21 members representing the 9 world faiths in the region meet quarterly to provide expertise and guidance, with a smaller Executive Group led by the Chair, Tony Robinson, meeting more regularly to manage everyday business. The Director, Inderjit Bhogal, is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Forum.
The Forum focuses on activities relating to three core aims, and has published a business plan to ensure fulfilment of its objectives.
