Churches Regional Commission for Yorkshire and the Humber (CRC)
CRC aims to represent the churches at regional level; to raise the profile of faith; and to encourage churches to be partners in regeneration. Founded in 1998, CRC ensured that the Yorkshire and Humber Assembly included a faith voice and along with the Assembly, sought to find a way for a diversity of faith voices to be heard at a regional level – not just Christian churches. This culminated in the creation of the Yorkshire and Humber Faiths Forum. Read more…
The Forum continues to work with CRC on common areas of concern such as inter-faith issues and religious literacy and training.
