Youth Council

ICLS_group_inside.jpgYoung people are our future leaders and can have the opportunity to influence relations and events in their local communities. Council members can utilise their own skills to mentor young people, providing specialist knowledge of faiths and how we can work together fruitfully. Young people do demonstrate that they are fully capable of having responsibilities, but do not always have the opportunity to execute this capacity. The Youth Council will give a platform to air views and challenge myths and stereotypes. It will give them a feeling of being valued and motivate them further as well as learning new skills and provide the Forum with a fresh perspective.

A task group of Council members is currently consulting and developing a plan for the Youth Council. To find out more or get involved, contact the Forum office or visit www.faith2faith.org.uk
