Events
The Forum are developing a programme of events as an opportunity for people of all faiths and of no particular faith or belief, to get involved with key issues of interest to them. Current events include an evening talk on 'Cohesion and Co-existence: The legacy of Martin Luther King and Mahatma Gandhi' on May 7th in Pocklington; and 'Faith on Campus' on May 20th in Bradford and the 'Faith in the Media' conference proposed for Autumn 2008.
Previous events include the 2007 annual conference and AGM, 'Faith Voices: Working together for Community Cohesion' on December 13th 2007 in Bradford; youth conference, 'Faith 2 Faith' which was held on December 12th 2006, and the residential visit for young people to Northern Ireland in October 2007.
The Forum also launched a Food Festival in 2006 which is held annually in June. Everyone is encouraged to organise an event in their local community on or around Sunday 8th June. Guidelines are available from the Forum. Read Moreā¦
